The Bayview Alpacas

At Bayview we are committed to breeding Huacaya alpacas with great confirmation, personality and quality fibre.

We have 2 main breeding stud males who are both registered with the Australian Alpaca Association and who's sire and dam were imported from Chile.

We are currently bringing on 2 new sires so next years birthing will be very exciting.

We try to provide the Alpacas with as close to their natural environment as we can. The girls and boys are free to roam over hundreds of acres of farm land, native bush and forestry and enjoy having their daily swim in the river - yes - Alpacas love water. On a warm day they will lay down in the river and let the water run over the top of their backs.

All the Alpacas have a lot of human attention so they are very friendly and come when called.

Our focus has been on breeding black, medium brown and fawn alpacas, but this year we will be introducing 2 white sires.
